Man in your parka, how about taking advantage of the top-notch festivities NYC has to offer? Your bed will still be there when you get home. Make the most of radiator-season. Ditch your couch, tell Netflix that you are not still watching for once, and hit some of the glorious events the city has lined up. Here’s everything you absolutely have to do in NYC. Things to Do And See in New York City!

Things to Do And See in New York City!-Cadillac House

Located in New York City’s vibrant SoHo, you’ll find Cadillac House as innovative and creative as the neighborhood it calls home.

Cadillac and Visionaire Racing invite you to race on the largest Mini4WD racing track on the East Coast during the new, interactive exhibition at Cadillac House.

Based on Japan’s 1980s cult miniature 4WD model-making and racing competitions, Visionaire brings its artistic and curatorial twist to the construction and sport of miniature car racing.

Make Your Own Dumplings At The Brooklyn Kitchen

As January slinks out and February slogs in, you’re probably subsisting primarily on cereal and frozen food — and leaving your bed only when absolutely necessary.

This Thursday, instead of microwaving Trader Joe’s chicken tikka masala (again), enroll yourself in a dumpling making class at The Brooklyn Kitchen.

You’ll learn how to pleat, stuff, and steam dumplings, as well as master Chinatown-worthy bao dough!

Drink Yourself Warm At A Tequila Tasting

Gather 20 of your closest friends at Añejo Mexican restaurant’s Tribeca location for a private four-course dining experience by Top Chef contestant Angelo Sosa.

A spirits expert will guide you and your guests through a tequila flight as you nosh on guacamole. Chicken adobo empanadas, and tacos. It’s the perfect opportunity to bone up on one of America’s favorite imports (while drinking). And, because the dinner is in Añejo’s private dining room, everyone will have a chance to commandeer the iPod dock.

Things to Do And See in New York City-Statue of Liberty

Check two huge sites off your bucket list with this exciting guided 4-hour tour of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Start the tour by getting early Reserve Line Access boarding on the ferry to Liberty Island. Once there, go inside the pedestal of the statue. And head to the observation decks for an awesome view of New York City and its surroundings.

Then hop back on the ferry to Ellis Island to learn about the intriguing history of immigration to America that took place here between 1892 and 1954.

After meeting your guide at Castle Clinton on the southern tip of Manhattan, board the ferry.
Enjoy your early Reserve Line Access boarding to avoid the crowds. During the ride to Liberty Island learn about the history of the famous statue. And learn about how perceptions of Lady Liberty have changed over the decades and generations.

Things to Do And See in New York City-Central Park

Christmas Lights in Dyker Heights Brooklyn

Christmas in New York City is a magical time. And some of the best festive spots in the Big Apple are Dyker Heights and Bay Ridge in Brooklyn. Residents in these areas take Christmas decorations to a whole new level that shouldn’t be missed.

This tour whisks you out to Brooklyn, and then on the way back. You can enjoy views of the lit-up Manhattan skyline. Plus stop at Fifth Avenue and Rockefeller Center to catch a glimpse of their iconic displays.

Things to Do And See in New York City-One World Observatory

Not only does it have the trippiest elevator in the city. One World Observatory is also a fierce contender for best views in the city. Ride up to the 102nd floor surrounded by a VR-like film.

Then admire the 360-degree views at the top of the tower. Opened in 2015, the three-floor observation deck is a tourist attraction atop the offices below. But the sights truly are spectacular. Standing at 1,776 feet (see what they did there?). One World Trade Center is the tallest building in both New York City and the United States.

Tickets are $34 for adults, $32 for seniors and $28 for children.

Make sure you hop onto the Sky Portal, a 14-foot glass circle that’s easy to miss on your first pass. But you should double back. The platform is covered with a projection of actual video footage of the street more than 1,000 feet below. You’ll feel like a giant as you stomp on that pesky cab that almost ran you over on the way in.
