Until a few years ago it was unthinkable that the parquet did not have a thin wood-colored larch. However, trends are changing, and are currently very popular with high specks. It is mostly white, due to the color of the wall. The White Strips Are In Fashion!
The White Strips Are In Fashion
Fashion trends dictate how the interior of a modern furnished apartment will look. Even small things, such as parquet-moldings, tell us how much the householder has made to arrange the living space.
High parquet-strips are an unobtrusive interior element that enhances the visual impression of the entire space. These battens are made of mediapan (a mixture of resin and wood fibers). But more often, those made from polyurethane, which is suitable material. Not only because it allows painting in the desired color, but because the joints on the composition of the mold are not visible.
On stalls and in shops
On stalls and in shops, strips are sold in two-meter-long pieces. 10 to 12 centimeters in height, with a thickness of 1.2 centimeters, if you want to cover a larger space between the floor and the wall without the use of a wicker. There are also those dressings that are two and a half inch thick.
Only the adhesive bonding is very simple. With a little craftsmanship, it can be set up by someone who has no contact with the parquet craft.
The moldings are placed against the wall, side by side. The corners are cut at an angle of 45 degrees and then fit accurately. The tube in the tube is applied to the mold, which then leans onto the wall, with slight pressure. For the connection between the two battens, a different tool is placed – a crystalline adhesive, which does not allow to form a batten shot.
In case the wall is guilty, a crack will appear on the connection between the mold and the wall. The dyes are filled with acrylic, which receives color and will not be visible after the deposition. The compound of the molding is guitars with acrylic git. After this layer was dried, it was slightly wrung by sand paper.
After installing the moldings, the wall is moving or the wallpaper is placed. If the wall of the second color is in relation to the mold, it is necessary to place a crepe-tape on their composition.
Decorative moldings are painted after dispensing with dispersion or acrylic paint that allows washing. Mostly white paint is used. It is important that the color does not contain acetone, so as not to get damaged. The spread is applied with the first brush on the edges and angles, and later with the roller, so that the color evenly spreads over the entire surface.
Decorative moldings can also be placed on rounded and semicircular walls. Fertilizers can be fitted with high-speed polyurethane moldings. These models are a little expensive, but they solve a big problem that can not be solved with classic wooden canvases.
